St John’s
Built in 1958, this year see's the 50th anniversary of St John's. We have already undertaken a series of improvements to the church and hall at St John's. Already, we have installed new fire doors in the hall , new carpets in the entrance halls and decorated the entire interior. Also we have new windows and eventually we hope to overhaul our existing lavatory facilities.
We have a fully fitted and working kitchen which is used every week for our Lunch Club and regularly when we have our "Drop in for a Cuppa" mornings and other social gatherings.
Mass is celebrated here twice a week. Every Friday morning at 10.00am and also on Sundays at 8.00am. On the second Sunday of each month we have a rejoice service for the young and young at heart. We also run a Children's activity hour once a month on a Saturday Morning. Details are always available in the entrance of St John's Church.
We have many different clubs and associations that use our facilities including a pre-school group, martial arts, brownies and a Darby & Joan club.
